Welcome to the Tronrud family on the net. This is the genealogy information I have collected and researched the last years.
These pages includes our childrens ancestors and relatives.On their mother's side mostly from Lofoten and Vefsn, and their father's side mostly from Valdres, Sorlandet, Jevnaker, Horten and Ostfold. You will find us at the Home Card.

The TRONRUD name.
Tronrud is the name of a farm in Bagn in Valdres. The farm is situated at 575 meters above sea-level high above Bagn in a steep eastly slope. The name comes from the male name, "Trond" and "rud" which means clearing. The farm was divided into North- and South-Tronrud in 1733. In 1847 my GGG Grandfather bought the farm - North Tronrud, and it has since been in the family.
